Are Africans cursed?
Guess what, after talking to Mr Mawere, I was provoked to confirm that in 1845, only 166 people led by John Fairbairn were the founders of what is now known as Old Mutual.
I was so inspired by this knowledge to do something as a member of Banking On Africa's Future. An initiative that was created to provoke, ignite and inspire forward learning, problem solving attitudes rather than the entitlement angle to human civilization. If in 1845 they could create Old Mutual, why has it taken us 28 years to create a divided South Africa?
I am excited to be a volunteer under BOAF to bridge old ideas into present day solutions. If John Fairbairn existed in 1845, then Bank om Tessa to be one of 10 000 change makers.
